My camera has taken me for a look at health care delivery; an HIV support group, health care for the homeless, a drop-in clinic in a detoxification center, clinical settings in a public hospital, Home Nursing, AIDS care, and Hospice care.

There are times when doing this kind of work in which you are privy to critical moments in the ongoing sequence of people’s lives. At such times, the photographer becomes silent, the camera is forgotten, and people behave in a manner true to who they are and the situation they face. TF
